Welcome to SRUC Farm Animal Veterinary Society!
SRUC FAVS is a student-led society bringing together those with a passion for farm animal medicine and agriculture. Based in Aberdeen, we are fortunate to be surrounded by a thriving agricultural industry, offering fantastic opportunities to gain experience both on and off farm.
Our society welcomes everyone with an interest in farm animal veterinary medicine, whether you come from a farming background or are completely new to the industry.
We aim to organise a range of talks, practical sessions, farm visits and social events, helping students develop their knowledge, build practical skills and connect with farmers and veterinary professionals.
Above all, SRUC FAVS is about bringing together like-minded students, encouraging enthusiasm for farm animal practice and supporting the next generation of farm vets!
